Terms of Service

What is Lotlsoft?

Lotlsoft is a collection of small tools, games, and experiments. Some are free, some are paid. We're a sole trader based in Melbourne, not a company - one developer making things.

Using Our Apps

You're welcome to use our apps for their intended purpose. Some apps are free to use, some are paid subscriptions - each app's own page explains which. When using any Lotlsoft app, please:

• Be respectful and don't abuse the services
• Don't attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt our systems
• Don't use our apps for anything illegal
• Don't scrape or harvest data from our apps
• Don't create fake accounts or impersonate others

Paid Apps and Subscriptions

Some Lotlsoft apps (like Shopfront) are paid. Pricing, billing and cancellation terms for each paid app live on that app's own terms page. In general:

• Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment provider (Stripe, via Lotl Pay).
• You can cancel any paid app from its own account settings. No refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
• Billing disputes: email billing@lotlsoft.com within 30 days of the charge before raising a chargeback.
• Free apps remain free and are not affected by a paid-app subscription.

Your Account

If you create a Lotlsoft account:

• You're responsible for keeping your password secure
• You're responsible for activity on your account
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms
• You can delete your account at any time from account settings

Your Content

Some apps let you upload content (like images in Leadlight). When you upload content:

• You must have the right to share it
• Don't upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• We may remove content that violates these terms
• Uploaded content is processed temporarily and deleted automatically (see our Privacy Policy)

No Warranties

Lotlsoft apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except where consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law apply and cannot be excluded. We don't guarantee:

• That apps will always be available or work perfectly
• That your data will never be lost
• That features won't change or be removed

We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but Lotlsoft is a one-person sole-trader operation and things can break. For paid apps, we aim for high availability but do not offer a formal SLA unless the specific app's terms say otherwise.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lotlsoft is not liable for any damages arising from your use of our apps. This includes:

• Loss of data or progress
• Service interruptions
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll try to let you know. Continued use of our apps after changes means you accept the new terms.
